Whitecaps Merchandise
The opportunity to work with the Vancouver Whitecaps merchandise team was presented to myself during my time working at a custom promotional clothing manufacturer.
The project involved creating a new apparel piece for the Whitecaps store that was not football/soccer related but would serve both as promotional apparel and a functional jacket that fans could wear on cold days watching their team at the stadium. The result was a branded fleece lumberjack tartan jacket in the Whitecaps blue colorway. The choice of using a lumberjack tartan pattern on a fleece jacket also promoted a sense of canadiana for the fans of the club.
